Tell Me A Story: Home for the Holidays

TMAS.homefortheholidaysTell Me A Story is back and ready for elves on shelves, Chanukah presents and nordic ski sweaters! We’re just a little early with our Holiday spirit. But not as early as Target. The next show is Wednesday, November 18th at Shot Tower Coffee. Join host Hillary Rea for a night of comedic storytelling on the theme “Home for the Holidays”. The line-up features Kate Banford, Mike Fenn, Jaime Fountaine, Anna Goldfarb, Michael Kelly, Cecilia Watson, and Marjorie Winther. All tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door with cash or credit card. Doors are at 7pm, Stories at 7:30pm.  For more info: check out TMAS on Facebook and Twitter.

Hillary and Storytelling at Azuka Theatre

lightsAzuka Theatre, a Philadelphia theater company devoted to telling stories of outcasts and underdogs is currently presenting Lights Rise on Grace, a 90 minute play that strips bare the issues of incarceration, sexuality and family. On Sunday, November 15th, immediately following the 2pm performance, Hillary will participate in a post-show discussion panel on the art of storytelling.
