Tell Me A Story is heading to the Mütter Museum for a special afternoon of true stories on Sunday, October 26th at 3pm. Join host Hillary Rea for an afternoon of secrets spilled, memories gashed, and contagious laughter. Several comedians (and perhaps a physician or two), reveal true, comedic stories based on the theme “Guts.” This show features stories from stand-up comedian Nikki Black, writer and storyteller Jaime Fountaine, Mütter librarian Beth Lander, actor Steve Lippe, Moth StorySLAM winner and doctor Zeeshan Nayeemuddin, First Person Arts favorite Katie Samson, and Drexel University professor Michael Yudell. Tickets are available for advance purchase here and include admission to the museum. For more info: check out TMAS on Facebook. Missed previous shows? Check out our video channel on Vimeo.
This week Hillary is featured on the How I Learned podcast. This podcast is the home of stories told at Blaise Allysen Kearsley’s monthly show the How I Learned Series. If you are in New York, be sure to check out the show each month at Union Hall in Brooklyn. You can listen to Hillary’s episode of the podcast on iTunes. Enjoy.
